![]() ![]() I hope anyone interested in older games can look past the admittedly outdated controls (though the game is also balanced in such a way that it doesn't expect fast reaction times from you like a modern game would so the controls aren't really that big of a deal as far as progression goes) and music that needs tinkering to really work and see the intricate designs of System Shock. ![]() However, System Shock is a game about exploration. Because of this I have made this walkthrough. The guides I found online where fairly confusing. Even after having completed it several times I still get lost from time to time. The cyberspace sections are unlike anything i've seen anywhere else and were kinda mindblowing. Introduction System Shock is a fairly complex game. The levels are really dense and fun to explore, and all the logs and hidden items you can find make it even better. I really enjoyed all the cool details and things it does to really make you feel like you're taking back control of the levels out of SHODAN's hands as you progress - simple things like turning the game over screen into a checkpoint that puts you to half health once you turn off the cyborg conversion pod, that you don't really see done in other games. Still as impressive after all these years as it was when it released. ![]()
